Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 2025
1. Data Minimization Philosophy
At ESG Crypto ("we," "our," or "us"), our architecture is built on a "Privacy by Default" principle. We believe that institutional research does not require the surveillance of its readers. Consequently, we have designed our platform to function without requiring user accounts, logins, or the storage of personally identifiable information (PII) on our servers.
2. Client-Side Processing
Interactive Tools & Simulators: All data entered into our widgets—including the "Allocation Risk Simulator," "Scope 3 Estimator," and "Stewardship Matrix"—is processed entirely within your web browser (client-side execution via JavaScript). We do not transmit, store, or save your financial inputs, simulation parameters, or results on our servers. Once you close your browser tab, this data is obliterated.
3. Information We Collect
- Local Storage (Browser): We utilize your browser's Local Storage to persist your "Consent Token" (indicating acceptance of our Liability Shield). This ensures you are not repeatedly prompted with the compliance gate during a single session. This data never leaves your device.
- Anonymous Analytics: We may collect aggregate, non-identifiable technical data (e.g., total page views, PDF download counts) to optimize our research distribution. This data is not linked to individual IP addresses or user profiles.
- Direct Communication: If you voluntarily contact us via email (e.g., inquiries@esgcrypto.com), we retain your message and contact details solely for the purpose of addressing your inquiry. We do not add these details to marketing lists without explicit consent.
4. No Third-Party Tracking
We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers. We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to cryptocurrency exchanges, mining pool operators, or data brokers.
5. Data Subject Rights (GDPR/CCPA Alignment)
While we do not hold PII, we acknowledge global privacy standards. Since we do not maintain a user database, "Right to Erasure" or "Right to Access" requests are moot as we possess no data to delete or provide. However, we remain committed to transparency regarding our non-collection practices.
6. External Links
Our research may contain links to external websites (e.g., IFRS, TCFD, Regulatory Bodies). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.
7. Contact Us
If you have questions about our data practices, please contact the Technical Secretariat at inquiries@esgcrypto.com.
